The Winnipegosis Historical Society (WHS) will be holding its annual yard sale Friday, July 24, 2026 at the Winnipegosis Museum (former CN Station) from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Please consider donating your unwanted household items to this fundraiser. Donations of garden produce, baked goods, jams, jellies and pickles will also be gratefully accepted and may be dropped off at the site the morning of the sale.

Call Ruth at 204-656-4506 or Terry at 204-656-4951 to make arrangements for drop off or if you can volunteer at this event. All funds raised go toward our operating costs.

WHS encourages anyone handling estates with artifacts or historical items, to consider donating them to the Winnipegosis Historical Society. Donations can be made in honour of, or in memory of someone. All donations over $20 will receive a tax receipt.

Donations can be made specifically for the Medd House Museum, the Winnipegosis Museum or the Winnipegosis Historical Society.

Repairs and Operations of the Winnipegosis Museums

The hail storm in July, 2022 caused one of our single pane windows to break and though we have done a temporary repair we are even more eager to go ahead with plans to have storm windows added. Continuous maintenance is always important to keep this 125 year old building in good repair.
