Joseph P. Grenon, manager of the Armstrong Trading Co. at Winnipegosis situated on the banks of the river ¼ mile from town.

Mr. Grenon’s farm was the largest of its kind in Canada at that time. Mr. Grenon also expanded into the breeding of mink. Both fox and mink pelts were in high demand during this period.
